Most people still don’t know what is included in a deep cleaning. There are many types of cleaning, and one of the most important ones is a deep cleaning.
We clean houses or offices that people have been living in for years, and we are surprised by how dirty those places are. Dirt and grime can cause some severe diseases, the most common one being allergies. Now, since you know it is important, let’s talk about what is included in a deep cleaning service.
What’s included in a deep cleaning
Deep cleaning includes: ✅Cleaning windows,✅ deep cleaning fridge, ✅deep cleaning oven,✅ deep cleaning bathrooms, ✅cleaning all floors, ✅counter top, ✅dusting ceiling fans, ✅dusting blinds or Shutters,✅ dusting all furniture, ✅wiping down Kitchen cabinets ✅wiping down vanities,✅ making beds, ✅All baseboards and more
Do you know when a deep cleaning is necessary?
No!😝Well, most people don’t know. A client just asked me what type of cleaning we do after I asked her what type of cleaning she’s looking for. Deep cleaning is not just wiping down surface areas and cleaning the floor. If that’s what you do beleive me you’re living in a dirts house.
Most people never realize where they’ve been living until they move out to that place and realize that the house was dirtier than a dumpster. I say that because for half a decade in this business, I’ve seen it all.
I have clean 2 house that was the worst experience that any one in the cleaning industry ever done. The first one was a lady living with her son both depressed after her husband past away. One of her daughter that was living in another came and found them living in a landfill.
She hired 3 companies to clear the house we all spent 3 days. More than 10 people were working.
A deep cleaning is necessary after:
- Do some construction work at the house, also called post-construction cleaning.
- After living in the house, do regular cleaning, but never clean the whole property, or after being away for a long time, and want to get a fresh cleaning home.
- When moving in/out of the house, if you move in, it’s really important to do a move-in cleaning, because you don’t know how the previous person treated the house. Moving out is after having lived in the house for a long time, and moving to a new place, you clean before leaving to ensure a smooth transition between you and the new tenant. Is it worth paying for a deep cleaning?
One of my clients told my girls that she will never clean her house by herself again. She is one of our monthly client and she was on schedule, but, a week before the cleaning she had families coming to her house and decide not to call us instead cleaning the house herself.
She said this is the last time she would do that, it took her 2 days to clean house and and not even clean it professionally. According to scientist it take a homeowner 12 to 16 hours to clean their house every week.
I just read a post from quora.com where a lady commented, it took her 8 to 10 hours to clean an 800 square feet apartment. I caught because the expected time to clean a 800 square feel apartment is 2 hours and that what we charge for regular cleaning and 3 hours or 3:1/2 for deep cleaning.
Now the question is if your hours is worth less than $50 it is not worth paying for deep cleaning. You can go and spend 12 to 16 hours doing it yourself. but if you have all these time to waste, then it doesn’t worth paying for a deep cleaning.
Let us take the chore and give you peace of mind, let us free your time, give you more time to have fun and spend with your family.
Final thought
Deep cleaning is a one-time or 2 time a year job. For some people it’s every years but some of my clients they want their house extra clean at all the time and require us to focus in different part of the house each visit that way the house stays in shape all the time.
Typically, a deep cleaning includes all the above and sometimes more than what I write in this blog. The list is long and it also depends on what the customers are looking for.
